The meeting in December was our Christmas Party. With a glass of wine, and home made mince pies and blackberry and apple pies provided by Wendy Smith, members took part in a photographic 'quiz'. This consisted of 20 'close up' views of locations of the village in time past which they had to identify. When the answers were revealed, they found that all the images came from pictures in the Society's new The Illustrated Book of Wargrave! The winner was David Williams, with Kathryn Allsop and Sandra Foster as joint 'runners up'
