The meeting room was decorated in festive style for the Wargrave Local History Society's Christmas Party in December. The members were warmed with traditional mulled wine, apple and blackberry pies and mince pies, all home-made by member Wendy Smith. The evening also included a nostalgic look back at some of the Society's own history. The pictures shown recalled each of the Society's summer visits made in the 21st century, with a chance to spot friends, changing fashions - and afternoon cream teas!
