The Wargrave Local History Society held a successful Christmas Party in December. Members enjoyed an audio visual presentation by Geoff Briggs. This took a look back at the society visits to places of interest in - The Thames Valley Police Museum in 2001, Whitchurch Silk Mill in 2002 and Taplow Court in 2003, - and 10 years earlier - to the Crofton Beam engines and Kennet and Avon canal in 1991, Temple Island in 1992 and the Royal Berkshire Regiment Museum in Salisbury in 1993. The evening included festive fare that had been prepared by Wendy Smith.
